This procedure involves placing a small rubber band at the base of the internal hemorrhoid, after which the band will end up cutting off the blood supply to the hemorrhoid and it will shrivel up and fall off in about four to seven days.

This process required to get rid of hemorrhoids can be quite painful but worth it in the end. Any scarring that takes place will occur inside of the body and so you will not have to worry about it being visible.
